Suspension Problem
Hey guys, i just got my Strange 10 way rear shocks, H&R sport springs and UPR upper/lower control arms and KYB quad shocks for my '90 GT yesterday and i installed them. The H&R springs say they will drop the rear 1" after install. Well after i finished installing them and let the car sit back down i couldn't even run my fingers between the wheel and fender on both sides! I went from a stock height to no clearance hardly. Did i do something wrong? I know i installed the springs the right way and i checked over everything twice. Could the rear shocks be bad from factory? Or do the UPR control arms also drop the car a few inches? Please help.
Yea they are solid control arms and i installed new isolators on them. I was just looking at install instructions for the springs on American Muscle and they have and install sheet on 94-04 and it said in the guide to make sure to have the lower pigtail on the spring facing the driverside or else it will result in lower than expected drop height, so as soon as i get out of work im gonna go check that out and hopefully that solves the problem.
Well no luck, i adjusted the pigtails to face the driver's side and put it all back together and still the same height. I also removed the Strange shocks and re-installed the stockers and still the same height. Maybe i got a set of bad springs?
