Yeah I agree but unfortunately Rome wasn't built in a day right?! I just placed an order with AM so I'll have the car on the right path shortly.

1800 for wheels? tell your mechanic to go suck eggs... check out late model restoration, you can get your hands on new rims and tires for under a grand. check corral, craigslist before you blow 1800 on rims

besides, the 16x7 pony is a popular rim for the fox, tho if you dont like them, you can prolly get around 150 for them if they are in good shape

find a good LX bumper...

but for a grand running its not bad, but you do have your work cut out for you, no doubt I agree with Mjr's estimate of 10K

Shelty, part of the reason the price was high was the tires were supposed to be something like 285 (he said they were the best traction tire under 17". The rims were also Chrome haha.

Does anyone know what a ballpark price would be to strip the interior and put a new one in (just floor and roof)?

If you are truely interested in getting a set of wheels and tires, let me know. I work for a professional tire installation and automotive repair shop.

I can get you what you need, for likely the lowest price.

@ Adder I'll drop you a PM as soon as I get a sticker and plates on her and take a ride to see ya.

I noticed a really small leak coming from the what looks like the fan belt area. It's a very diluted brown color. It does like maybe 5 drops per 30 minutes. I think it might be oil cause it's definitely not water. So far I've got a new header and I'm going to check out the parts car tomorrow. Is there anything I should try and grab? I already know I'm taking the door panels and possibly the front lip.

You started off way better than what I did for $1000.

I'd say skip the alarm. As for rims, go to a discount tire. I got my anthracite GT500s, which are 17x9in with 245 up front and 275 out back for $900 and that's with Falkien ZIEX tires...
