Jack ????

Is it safe to jack on the cross member that is located under the engine on my 86 LX ???????

the k member, i do it all the time, doesn't mean its safe, but i do it

Yes its safe. That and the diff are the only 2 places I place the jack when I am working on the car. I don't like having to do single corners because of the weak stock chasis.
