Springs and shocks primarily. Really in the end, people are overly concerned about body roll. It's not always a bad thing. Ever seen a Porsche turn a corner full tilt? They roll. Roll can be good depending on the suspension design, it can allow the suspension geometry to work and increase traction. Roll itself has VERY little effect on weight transfer, and load transfer occurs regardless. Load transfer can be minimized by going to more aggressive suspension, but then you sacrifice ride comfort for handling, up to a point. Roll is just a result of physics. Let the suspension work for what it was intended, and whatever the roll is, the roll is.

If you want a better handling car, upgrade the suspension.

Thats the stock sway bar in your pic right? The one I have looks bigger. I'll try to take some pics in the next few days if possible. Going be pretty busy starting this new job. So according to Cj's, it can only be as big as 1 1/8. Thanks for the info resto. I can measure it by just putting a string around it, measure the length of string used, and then divide by 2 right? By the way, did you ever figure out your driveshaft yolk plaining issue?

No
No
And no, haven't had much of a chance.

That is what came on the car when I got it. The 5.0's sway bar is bigger than the cobra's. 1-5/16 is bigger than 1-1/8. The sway bar looks smaller in the pic than what it really is but its big and heavy. There is no reason to upgrade the sway bar. I would go pic up a strut tower brace if you are looking for that type of upgrade.

wow lol, that is the worst math I have ever done :/. It's been a very long day. I'll maybe pull it back off, and take a pic to post up here for a visual comparison. I don't see why my stock 5.0 one is lighter, and smaller, yet is supposed to be the biggest.

Just measured and feel like an idiot. I got and inch and 3/8 for both which is the wrong size, but tells me they are the same. The one I put on is painted yellow which I guess makes it look bigger than one that is all rust. But I have gotten something from this thread though, I don't necassarily want a bigger sway bars. Upgrade the other areas first. thanks guys, sorry for the waste of time and thread.
