First I weight 125 and second that car does not have a full interior, is carbed, and has the bare minimum of what it needs. I guarantee my car weighs 3100 or less with me in it. Then if I was driving the 83 which has even less in it, I bet that sits at close to 2900 with me in it.

Your LS1 going 11.4's at that weight would be in the 10's at my weight woop dee doo
You're going to try and bust my nuts over a 100lbs, when it was pretty clear we were talking in terms of an estimate? You weigh 125 lbs? Man that is really light. I am fully aware what my old car would have done at a lighter weight, hell with a better tune and some weight pulled out it should have gone 10's. The whole point was that an LS1 is not 1000lbs heavier than a fox. From the pic yours looks like a pretty complete car, stock seats, stock wheels etc. Usually cars,, even Fox's that are that light have light seats and light wheels. I am not trying to be a dick, but have you ever had it on a scale?

Nope, haven't had a chance for the scale yet. I have no interior in the rear and alot of metal has been taken off the nose along with a few other parts. Yes, I am 5'4 and weigh 125 lbs. Being carbed and having no emmions takes alot of weight off too. I never said there was a 1000 lbs different though either.

have since removed a few things, so I should be right at 3,140 with a 1/4 tank. Still have complete interior, with 46lb each 1996 mustang GT front seats.

I plan to have this 'vert under 3,000 lbs even with a roll bar
