Default is it quick?

not too long ago i decided to do 0-60 run on the street. i used my cell phone camcorder for this lol. when i got home i watched the video and had a stop watch in the other hand. i watched and recorded the time a dozen times and got an average time in the mid-high 6s. its an aod 90 LX hatch with simple bolt on like cai, tb, 13deg timing, and flowmaster cat back! is this a rather quick car considering whats it is? i managed to give an LS1 camaro a run for its money!

fyi your car would run low/mid 15's in the 1/4 mile.

a ls1 anything would eat you alive as far as your last comment.

Your method of timing is not at all accurate, don't put any stock in your 0-60 time.

your not even close to mid to high 6's, that would equate to a mid 10 sec ride in the 1/4 and trust , your not that fast, not even close

14.70-15.20 car

put a t5 in it and then you'll be more like 13.70-14.20 car

aod needs 4.10's and nitrous in a big way

You must be confused with 1/8 mile.

0 - 60 in 6 seconds is about right for an auto fox Mustang.
Video and comparing time is not that accurate but it's better than guessing.

Try to get the car to the dragstrip. The measure 60', 330', 1/8 mile et and mph, sometimes even 660' and 1000. Once you know the 1/4 mile time and mph. You'll have lots to compare to. Don't listen to all the experts here. Your time, as said by 95 blown, is relative.

As for the LS1 race. That car, in stock form, is probably a whole 2 seconds and maybe 15-20 faster than you in the quarter. So in a fair race, there's not much of a chance.
