Wats up guys! Jus got my 331bak and was wondering about the tire size and gear ratio relationship. Can someone explain this to me or give me a link to read please. Had 28 x 10.5 slicks and 4.10 gears. Wondering about a 26 x 10.5. Please explain how tire size lowers gears or raises. Thanks

I run 3.73's and a 26 inch tire and combo is a 347 with a 100 shot, on the 100 shot it's turning some rpm through the traps if I were to switch to a 4.10 gear, I'd need a 28 inch tire, on a 28 inch tire pro50sc lost some mph and et with a 3.73 set up and 28 inch, and to get his et back he switched to 4.10's with the 28 inch tire, but then again he was also S/C ALL IN all IT DEPENDS ON YOUR CURRENT BUILD AND IT'S CAPABILITY, if it's a mild 331, 26's may be fine but if it's a above average stroker 28's may be a good choice on 4.10's

i think your gonna want a 26 inch tire

i have yet to run out of gear on any of my cars that had 4.10's , usually trap about 5200-5300

Ok. Thanks guys. I usually run a 28 x 10.5 n a 15 inch rim but it scrubs a little. Maybe i shud get a narrower tire. Thanks
