Cool Engine question.

I got a question for the 5.0 guys out here. I want to know if a 1990 stock 5.0 block is the same as a 93 cobra block. please help.

hahahaha +1 for a good joke; blocks that come .005" off between bores are QUALITY pieces of engineering...

call Jim @ fordstrokers and get one of his blocks. i think either 7 or 800 shipped, and itll be done RIGHT...

you go back and forth about blocks that will be cleaned up at your machine shop anyway, why the waste of thought?

you dont order a block then stuff it? no measuring boring honing etc???

unless you go aftermarket why worry, you`ll just get a clearance job chamfered return and supply holes blah blah!? things you can have done at a good machine shop or even at home before the trip!

no for quality go to DART and get an SHP block and just bypass the weaksauce 2 bolt mains...

but i think theres a reason that mjr and probably countless other people here use fordstrokers...

take a poll and see what people think is better quality if you dont believe me.

you could always just call T&L and get an engine from them...
