Exclamation NEW BUILD

hey yall im new here!!! yay right.... well heres the the thing im comming from the dark side (imports) to the muscle scene, i just recenty bought a 1988 mustang LX 5.0 with the AOD... WELL i already decided to bore and stroke it and wanted to get your opinions on teh parts im finding... firt off im looking at the Eagle b40030 347 stroker kit (all forged), aswell as the trickflow 360hp twisted wedge top end kit... i just wanted to get your opinions on this setup obviously ill be doing all the other supporting mods... thanks in advance for the help

302 parts on a stroker???????????

yes in short terms.

also no point in forged crank in a stock block

well welcome to this side....
And remember, you will start finding lots of weak links when you throw a lot of power at a pretty stock mustang, Trans will probably be shot in a week, depending on the milage, the rear will start to go, so on so forth

Not to mention the fox bodies stock suspension isnt the best

when you build it get the boss block so you dont have to worry about the block cracking

Unless he is boosting it or sucking down a lot of NNNNAAAAWWWWWSSSSS there is no reason to go to a boss block with a 302. He won't build enough power to break it. The stock 302 block can handle up to about 500hp.
