Im doing a 331stroker kit for my mustang. I have a 5.0 bored .30 over. and have the trickflow R series intake. any ideas on head ideas?? this is mostly going to be a street car, but I plan on taking to the strip every now n again. Any help/ideas would be awesome. im TRYING not to spend 1k on heads.

 

Disturbing answer, decent set of heads is over 1K.

 

haha, what i figured.. i guess im more looking towards brand/type etc. I can always find them cheaper somewhere lol. got the TFS R series intake for 200$ and i think it retails over 400?

 

you have a good foundation, why choke it in the middle??? TFS FAC 190 HEADS are a good fit for you

 

Im using a set of Fox Lake Edelbrock E-Streets on my car, which sounds like a pretty equal setup to yours (TFS R manifold, 331 w/ 10.8:1, tfs 3 cam). TF FAC heads are pretty much a small step down from what im using, and the prices are about the same too...

Im also using the SN TB adapter and a 75mm TB... (i know, eat me).

i wanna see how far i can push the SN stuff before i go to a fox setup.
