Default Rear End Build Update *Pics*

Haven't posted anything decent in a while so i figured id upload all the pics from my rear end overhaul.

Pulled the rear end out, had it dipped and painted it up. Put all new bearings in, 3.55s, new clutches. New Lakewood upper and lower control arms in. And oh my goodness what a difference in performance and feel. I love it! I would definitely recommend it!

Pulling out the rear end/ It removed

Left the quad shocks out as you can see.

Id estimate the total cost to be around $1200 excluding labor. It was a fun project and i am very happy with the result! Only regret was i wish i put more then 2 coats of paint on the rear end.

Interesting thing was some of the barrings where the same as the ones used in my dads chevy 12 bolt rear ends. We pulled them out and my dad recognized the part #.

instead of painting it (if you put more paint on it) you should use a product called POR15great for rusty surfaces, and will last a good while.

Good lookin rearend man!

I have some axels. I recently got some in the fall from a yard out of a ranger and a van haha. I also just learned that all i need is range rotors for the front? haha. So i should be set when the time comes.

But i have lots of tread left on my 4 lugs, so until thats gone ill keep my 4 lugs haha. 5 lug rims will probs be > 16"
