I'm going to replace the chrome valve covers to the tall Ford Racing aluninum one .I've got the Professional Products intake ,very simular to the Edelbrock Performer.My question is will the intake clear the tall valve covers ?There is no phenolic space at this time .Also if they won't clear what size spacer do I need.

If I remember right tall valve covers will not clear without a spacer. They are mainly used on carb setups. Remember with a spacer, how much room do you have between the hood and intake?

I had to use a 1" spacer when I used these with my explorer intake and with my Systemax.
