Arrow Older Hurst shifter or brand new UPR Blu Thunder??

So i started taking my shifter out to install my UPR one. well i got it apart and noticed it had external stops.. and i was all like "WTF?".. so i started too look around and noticed this...

And this is what the shifter itself looks like...

What hurst Shifter is it? i have done some research but i cant find any part numbers on it and i cant find any other hurst shifter that looks like this.

This is the other shifter i have...

which would be a better choice?

No thanks. Have had the Upr for a couple years sitting in the box. Plus heard a few horror stories about steeda ones breaking. Plus money is tight so I ain't gonna go out and buy a new shifter if I got a new one sitting on my tool box.

Well good for you I hope everything works out for you.
Definitley clean around the shifter area looks very dirty and also
treat that surface rust.
The Steeda tri Ax shifter is the best shifter I ever had and I have used
alot of different shifters on my Ford Mustang.I also like the feel of the Steeda Tri Ax shifter smooth, confident, and precise shifts.
The Steeda Tri Ax shifter is a very strong and durable shifter it's hard to belive that it would break. The shifter is Billet 6061 T-6 aluminum with
Grade 8 and stainless steel hardware.
You are missing out on a great shifter that's too bad.

no he is really not....

ask adder about his tri-ax, and why he parted ways with it...

and i believe that they break... i snapped mine right in half leaving work 2 summers ago.

no warning, pull out of the lot, shift to second and boom, sheared off right at the threads

they are not that great...
