Default Mass airflow upgrade...

so i am doing my h/c/i with a few other things starting next week. you guys have helped me put this all together. the only thing i have not made a decision on is the mass air. i have mass air just stock. i am going to be upgrading to 24lb injectors. i am leaning towards an LMAF as it is highly recomended and seems to be a good choice if i change my setup in the future. the problem is i will be doing all the work in my uncle's garare(bc i do not have one) so when i am done with everything i will want to start it and let it get to operating temp so i can check the valvetrain and retorque the headbolts but i do not think it will run? bc the lmaf will not be programed yet? will it run just crappy? i am going to bring it to a tuner as soon as i can but it will prob be at least a week or more depending on $. also to throw a monkey wrench in i am going to be also installing an electric fan and flexlite setup, not sure if that even pertains to this. thanks guys mike

electric fan and flexlite?

As for the tune, Contact Mike over at Dez Racing in Seekonk. Tell him what you have, and what you want to do. Request to have him build you a base tune on a chip, that will be just enough for you to drive the car to his shop.

Most tuners are more than OK with doing this.

As for a maf, there is no real need for an LMAF on your build. You would be fine with just upgrading to a SN-95 70mm MAF.

yeah i pulled a contour v-6 twin fan setup at the junkyard. i was going to follow this article http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co...ade/index.html

then 5.0 kid gave me a cleaner better solution as he had already done this and had problems with it. this is the kit he recomended http://www.summitracing.com/search/?...LX-31165&dds=1 what do you think?

I am def gonna go to dez. I have a trailor, would it run so i could atleast check the valvetrain and headbolts? thanks mike
