I saw that, and I really appreciate the offer. Just checking, it'd just work better for me to pay for the castle nut and lock washer than drive the 3+ hour round trip to come pick them up.

 

you dont need a castle nut... you need two nuts.. period!

remove the cable and bring it to your local parts house. Find the thread pitch of the end of the cable, and buy two nuts, and a washer.

put the washer against the clutch fork, and lock the two nuts behind it. Problem solved.
