Default New here! Crossing over from Chevy to Ford. Looking at buying 88 GT w/ 306

Hey guys. I'm making a transition from Chevy to Ford. So please bare with me if any of what I am saying is noob like. There is a guy selling a 88 GT Mustang. 5- speed, It has a 306, cammed, claims the bottom end is forged, still has all the EFI components. All suspension has been redone, Cobra R rims, Autometer water filled gauges, 5-lug conversion, very clean interior. Anywho, the car has a nice miss. Idle it's no issue and at WOT it's no problem at all. But cruising speeds it's a killer. I want to know if this is something I should dive into or not? Here is a list of some parts and pics. Thanks for any help at all!!!

Oh, he also claims that before he parked it for some time, it ran fine?

Injectors are way to big for the supporting mods! Unless the car is supercharged or turbocharged!

Looked at the pics so that is out of the question! Sounds like whoever was building that car had forced induction in mind sometime down the road!

Thanks for all the input guys!!The owner DOES have a turbo kit for it and did have plans to turbo it. He claims to have over $7k in receipts for all the work that was put into it.

So the injectors could be the issue then? I just wanna know if it's worth me getting into it or not.

I agee 1986GT, hood would need to GO if I were to buy it.
