Default not sure what to do? any input would help / input = read forum rules!!

So i have been thinking of getting a v8 for a while now, i have had 2 other cars i have been working on one was dsm the other was a rx7 i got the rx7 in the 13's was upset after all the work i did to be so low.. then built the rx7 and was equally disappointed.

So i have been looking online and around my town for a v8 i can get into the 12's high or low 13's. Well the reason im here is to see what you guys think about the car i went and test drove today.

If my goal is low 13's high 12's would this be a good place to start?

not a bad starting point. But I would suggest you buy an OEM distributor, and toss the MSD in the trunk incase you ever need a spare.

anywhere is a good place to start, just make sure he has some way to verify the mods he has listed, reciepts and so forth, and that it runs well, see if he'll let you take it for a good hour long test drive (with him or whatever, I always just offer to buy a tank of gas) and see if the car has hiccups, be careful with the test drives though, you can get into trouble if the unforeseen happens

okay so the 89 5.0 i posted last has a 93 cobra motor with all the work done.
I have between 5-6k to buy the car. That one the guy is asking around 5 for it so that would leave me with a little extra the supercharged 87 is 6.

I thinking about going with the 89 with the 93 motor due to not being worked to much like the supercharged one i know that one has been to the track quite a bit.

Sorry for posting in the wrong area i just thought it was tech because im trying to buy the car then find out what i will have to do to get it into the high 12's low 13's.
