Go with the TFS-1 cam. The TFS-2 is gonna raise your powerband up even higher. You'll lose a lot of low end torque, but make more up top. Depends on how you want your street car to run. But its YOUR call! Remember this is your car. Go online and see how people with "real" experience with the TFS-2 feel about it.

IMO, thats a lot of money to spend to maybe break 300rwhp...

better off piecing it together your self and saving money.

look for a used set of TF's, buy the TFS2 cam and the 1.6's, get a used intake, new gaskets, MEASURE and order some pushrods, 75mm TB, 30#'s, and a full 1 3/4" longtube exhaust

if you take your time this can be done for < $2000

leaves you another $1000 to do things like 4.10's and some other crap...

lawl

I have the stage 2 cam in my car. why do you think I talked to him so much about it?

its a good cam, "low down torque" thing is garbage.

if you have a auto, you will need a "ok" sized stall, 3000rpms or so. but for a manual the cam is perfect, power starts coming on at 3000, and pulls like hell from 3500-6000.

yea i would recommend upgrading the lifters. cheap insurance when you are turning another 1000rpm compared to stock.

did you buy ARP head bolts, and such yet? also think about if your valve covers will clear the rockers, or need grinded on like mine did.

ummm, just little things. I replaced all my intake sensors while I was there, I ported my headers for OCD and giggles, haha.

ummm, just little things I can think of. I can't think of anything to shocking that will pop up

Are those fine?

And don't the ARP head bolts come in the top end kit? And the rockers might not clear the valve covers because of the stage 2 cam correct? And what are the intake sensors? Is there any known guide with pics I can look at before doing it to get a great idea before i takle this?

Sorry for all the questions.

No it isnt the cam again! The vlv covers that come in the kit will clear. Cause of the added heigth of the stud rockers some wont clear on the top corners! Buying stock replacement lifters is a waste unless urs are not working properly!
