Default Too much for an '86 GT?

Hello,

I am considering buying an 86 GT at a local dealship in Bethesda MD. They are asking $13,990 for the car. It has several mods and appears to have been completely restored. A brief description and link to the car is below. I am curious if you all think that the price is reasonable for what the car appears to come with? Thanks in advance for your help!

~Erik

"Only 5,506 miles on a complete professional restoration! Professionally built aluminum head 306cid V-8 @ 400hp, 5-speed trans, HD Ford posi rear differential w/ 4.10 gears, new mirror finish Jalapeno red paint, cloth bucket seat interior, A Pillar gauges, Edelbrock Stage II aluminum heads, blueprinted and balanced w/ forged internals, Ford Racing cam, billet aluminum main support system, 60mm MAFS + 24lbs injector, Center Force clutch, super light, fast & fun Fox body."

this is just my opinion.
that being said, I would not spend that much money on an older car. especially one thats not an antique. it is a nice car, but you can buy a nice driver and build it to just as nice or nicer for less money. and you can make it exactly what you want it to be.
either way you go,

good luck.

It comes with a sick mobile in car phone though !

In all seriousness. He!! no I wouldn't pay 13,900. for that car. It looks pretty nice, but you can find something way cleaner than that for the money they are asking. You could buy a fox in decent shape and paint it whatever color you want, and have it swapped/built for that no problem. Just my opinion.

listen to the video, he says stroker motor and listed as a 306..lol what a tool, imo he doesn't know fox bodies all that well and talks the parts up used on the cars as top of the line and the quality stuff you'd put on it....and 400 hp....not even, old performer 5.0 intake, eddy heads and a frrp cam..lol = recipe for 275-300 rwhp being generous...........I've seen cars just as nice for alot less online....they most likely didn't pay/ give the owner more then 9-10k tops on trade for that ride

Yet another high priced Mustang with no pics of the underside... why? If you have the ***** to ask that much for a 30 year old car, SHOW ME WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE UNDERNEATH!! Oh, and nice "hot air intake" and no hood insulation.
