I'll have to look up the Wolverine...never heard of it. I had these cars when they were new and installed many a cam....and been in the 10 sec braket......never heard of a Wolverine?
I just looked up Wolverine....I would not go with that cam!! I would go with a Ford Racing letter series over a Wolverine. Talk with a local engine builder or hang out at the race track and get info from people you meet and trust before you go/rely on internet advice. Everyone has different opinions. I doubt anyone will recommend Wolverine.

OP, that car is hardly worth the money. Thats a 5K car at the most.
If you want something that will run 12's with no effort, and have 9k to spend, I'll sell you my Cobra.

for those who want to learn about it.....and fyi back in the day before all the new lobe profiles existed that do now, the 1087 was well known to the old schoolers, kinda like the letter cams are today known as "back in the day cams" would I use the 1087 or such today based on all the new options...no but to remove it in favor of a letter cam......not worth it..no gains will be had..only costs...been that route may times over the last 15 years.............for anyones reading pleasure

you had to google it?? lol FYI THERE IS MORE THAN 1 wolverine cam, the common ones were the 1190 and the more so used 1087if what he has is the 1087, it is far better then any b, e or f cam............. and you're recommending a letter cam = internet advice......facepalm...........no comment
By the way.....why is the Wolverine a better cam then say an X? I don't want to hear it "sounds better".....be technical if you can? Would you disagree the X cam would make a great street/strip cam....?
It's always good to hear about new product....except when it's from someone who thinks he know's it all and everyone else's opinion sucks....come on "facepalm"....grow up! I never said the letter cam was the best cam out there....I stated I like the cam and to check with people he knows and trusts and not to rely on internet advice. We give our opinions and the OP has become more knowledgeable in the topic he seeks advice. In the end it's up to the person who is making the decision and it doesn't help when butt heads get demanding/opinionated....grow up and be a help or don't say anything.
