Default ELECTRIC FAN???

Hey guys, I'm looking to replace my 1987 mustang gt's stock clutch fan with a direct fit electric fan? Theres so many on the market I need help choosing the right one for my car. My upgrades include CAI,70mm tb,longtube headers and off road h pipe, cobra intake, 4:10 gears, and underdrive pulleys. I would like to find one in the 200 to 300 price range and one that is easy to install! Any suggestions or advice please?

you want plug and play or do you want to do a bit of fab work

for plug and play these are some of the best simple ones I've found (ignore the fact its on a diesel site) and they can be found cheaper elsewhere

otherwise for fab work the taurus electric fan is pretty good, of course i can't remember the exact years to get them off of.

One big thing is what alternator are you running? the stock one will be crap for after you pull the high draw of the fan on it.

The taurus fan is great!! Got it on mine not much fab work at all just cut it down about a 1/2in getting it away from my water pump pulley. As far as the years of them like the 2nd gen 89-95?? right before the really round taurus haha. And make sure it's the dual speed one and not the single speed one.

On the alternator thing I'm still running the stock one for now but I do have a 6th gen taurus alternator ready to go on when the stock one craps out.

Hey thanks for the input! I happen to own a 92 ford tauras SHO, will this fan work on my mustang? It's not running right now I think the crankshaft sensor is bad in it.
