Default how much hp

i was wondering how much rear wheel hp i should be at with these mods in a 1989 lx 5.0
bbk long tube headers o/r h pipe flowmaster a 70mm tb cold air intake msd coil ford racing spark plugs and what should i purchase next???? any help much appreciated

With what you've already changed you might as well get a set of heads. Whether cast iron or aluminum they should net you much better HP improvements.

Have you changed your rear end gears yet? I'll be doing mine in about one more week, weather permitting of course. It'll likely be a lot of work but it's one of the few things that keeps me feeling young these days

Well stock you'll put out around 170-185 rwhp depending on transmission, air conditions, engine wear, etc. I'm gonna guesstimate the mods you have done will have added approx 15-20 rwhp.

If you get new heads but wanna keep the stock cam for streetability, then get 1.7 roller rockers. Generally they add 8-10 rwhp and approx 12 rwtq and hold both the hp and torque all the way across the power band. You just want to make sure you add them on new springs as with old springs they may cause the valves to float which will reduce hp. The down side is they will wear out the valve train a little quicker, so keep the stock 1.6 stamped rockers for in the long run the valves will start to float and the 1.6s will gain back the hp lost due to the valve float.

thanks for the help i am doin gears and suspension as soon it arrives at my house i already ordered it and then next mods are intake manifold cam and afr heads and injectors and a maf
