Default Moving dummy lights...

So I am considering purchansing the Florida50 gauge cluster, but am not blown away by the single red warning inicator light that they use for possible temp, volt, or any other warning that your car may show. Now when I was tearing my dash apart to replace my heater core (fun job) last summer, I noticed that on the lower right bottom of my gauge cluster, there was an [unused] section with multiple warning indicators. I asked on here what they were for because there was no electronic lamp holder that went behind it to light them up...and the response was that because of the year of my car, Ford was in transition of moving the dummy lights from the gauge cluster itself, and moving it to that seperate section to the lower right in a section of its own. Is it possible to somehow use that newer [lower bottom right side] section for my dummy lights, or is this impossible?

Actually, after even more Google searching, I find that only the 87-88 GT's came with these working (and I think all 90-93 5.0's), so now I just need to find where to get a used one. Searched thru resto websites and no one sells em new...

they where used, but most warning light stuff was options back then, lol.

IDK how you would find it other then finding them at a junkyard, then still you would have to route everything, and get sensors, and such depending on all what you want.

Alrighty... I'm now noticing that the 'dummy' lights are just for low washer fluid, low fuel, low coolant etc anyways...I was hoping they were for low oil pressure & water temp. The Florida50 cluster I wanna buy looks like it has only 1 red warning light...maybe that single warning light warns against both possible situations..? Who knows LOL!

I've seen the car on here, but not quite sure what he's doing inside. I'll have to do a lil research! Thanks :-)

You can make them light up if you make some kind of backing to hold a 194 blub and just wire from the old light to that spot. I am in the proses of doing that my self. Did my ford emblem and it turned out great. Good luck and if i get it done in time i will post pics.
