GOT THE CAR :P Okay so.. The car was pretty much what i expected.. maybe a little more lol. The interior is totally stripped out, the wiring harness is disconnected and everything needs to be rewired. The good thing is that most of the pieces are there. They just need to be hooked up and put back together. THE BAD: there is one bad rust spot.. The PO left a wet rag on the bare driverside floor by the clutch and it rusted out a hole the size of a baseball. The rest of the floor is solid its just that one spot so im going to have to either replaced the pan or patch that spot. Due to this happening i dropped the price down to 800 bucks . Other than that the towers are solid, body solid, everything pretty damn solid.. A few surface bubbles starting but nothing too crazy.

From what i can see/have been told the car needs: Fuel pressure reg, starter, alternator, rad, battery and carpet. Im sure theres lots more little interior pieces and stuff ill need along. Im going to take some pictures when i get around to it tonight or tomorrow and hopefully you guys can give me some advice on what ill need/where to even start :P!

a wet rag?? is it rotted out? or just rust? wire wheel and por 15 unless its a hole.

i doubt a wet rag would rot out a floor board... t-top cars have a history of rusty floors due to leaky seals

Well the t tops arnt rotted anywhere but the driverside does leak because of the weather stripping.. So I guess that would probably be the cause of that. The floors are fine except that one driver side :s..

:P yeah ok well some more not so good news. After taking everything out and inspecting the floors. I want to replace both floor pans. The driverside obviously needs to be replaces due to the big hole in the floor and the passenger side is soft so i mind aswell replace both while im there. My only concern is that the floor pan replacements off the internet only go to the start of the firewall where it slopes down and the pans are rusty on that slope.. Anyone deal with this before? What did you do? The motor, tranny, rear end, aluminum drive shaft, kyb suspension, extra 4 10 holes rims with tires ect is worth more than what i paid for the car.. so if worst came to worst ill get my money back out of the car or transplant everything into a roller.. What do you guys think? im gonna post a bunch of pictures.
