Question 1990 5.0 into a 1994 Mustang

So I have a 1990 mustang Lx and I've got a good motor in it already. I have put a b303, GT40s and a few other minor upgrades into this engine. I am buying a 1994 mustang GT that has no motor in it, but it's got a good T-5 in it. I was wondering what, if anything I will need to do this swap. I have heard rumors that the water pump would have to be changed, but I have not been able to confirm this. I will be running A/C and power steering. I would really like to know what brackets I will have to change and what special item I might need to buy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can drop the motor right in. The accessories do not have to be swapped, but you need to be careful of the clearance you have at the front of the engine.

Thanks Adder,
That is what I wanted to hear.
So while I'm on the subject of doing this swap I would like to get a few opinions. I have a 3.73 on the Fox, but the 94 is 2.73. I was thinking about trying my current build with the b303 and GT40s with that 2.73 behind it. Does anyone have any predictions as to how this is going to perform? I would also like to hear any opinions concerning what mods you recommend doing next on this car. I'm looking forward to reading all responses. Thanks again!

I don't think you're gonna be happy with the 2.73s, especially after driving a fox with 3.73s.

The sn95 is a heavier car, it'll feel like a turd with such high gearing.

You can try it out but I'm guessing your gonna wanna swap it out after like a day.

I have 2.73's on my stock LX and it sucks. Hwy gears are only fun on the Hwy.

why dont you just swap the rear ends? The only modifications you will have to make aren two notches for the ABS sensors, and two holes to bolt the SN-95 brake lines on. Everything else will swap right over

Just wanna let everyone know that I got the motor in and the car runs GREAT! I'm very happy with the results. I did end up running the 1994 set up. Just have to get my speedo problem squared away now.

I started a new thread for this problem but I am pretty sure my tranny is out of a newer model and uses the ecm type electronic speed sensor. My speedo is way off. I tried two different vss for 49-95 mustangs and they physically will not fit. Ecm type for 94 mustang is too skinny and doesn't seal so I leak fluid and the gear type sensor it too long to fit inside the transmission.

what was wrong with your foxbody or do you just like the sn-95 better?
