what to buy...
ok so i got rid of my 05 gt for a 2012 focus and my fiance said she would get me a 2011 next year. I kinda tired of "new" and want a fixer upper or something already fast, dont want another car payment. Anyways right now im caught on 2 good local deals. Theres a 99 ws6 trans am, 52k miles, full exhaust, cam, basic bolt ons for like 8000. (marine about to deploy) Also the other car is a 94 mustang gt. Only thing wrong is power windows dont work and has 177k miles on it. This is 1500. Im leaning more towards the stang for some reason but wondering would it just be easier to put a crate engine into it. Like can u put the new 5.0/trans into it. Or like a mach 1 engine or just rebuild the dang thing and go from there? any advice please. Whatever is easiest.
Also i want the car to remain street/daily drivable but be faster than my s197 gt with cai/tune....maybe mid-high 12s or low 13 would be great

sorry bout that...basically i want to know should i just buy the trans am thats already in great condition and modded or the 94. I want to know about the 94 can u put a new 5.0 engine into it or would it be a pita. If its gonna be alot of work/money into the 94 than i would just take the trans am i found. If u cant put the new 5.0/trans into the 94 can u at least put a 4.6 4v or something with decent hp into it without being a huge pain the butt.

I just dont know anything bout the old 5.0 engine. would it be best to get the 94, rebuild the engine and then mod it?? Im not even sure what these are capable of with staying street drivable.

Putting the new 5.0 in a 94-95 will run you into some emissions complications. Nothing that can't be dealt with.. but a headache none the less. It is also a completely different style engine, which will require modifications to the car itself (k-member, wiring, fuel system... etc etc)
If you want something quick, that needs little to no work, then go for the WS6. If you want a project car, buy the Stang.
If you want something fast... you could always buy my Cobra! ;-)

buy adders car if you want something fast and reliable and you can always keep making it faster.
from being on this forum i know that adder is one of the guys that doesnt cut any corners with his builds. you know that what he puts into his motor si the right stuff. not some guy in a WS6 that just through parts at it cuz its cool. IMO
