LOL idk what is the real point on it?? All the upgraded t5 have it. Can someone please explain why. Does it make you faster?

the lower number first gear allows you to get to a higher speed per RPM, however it slows your acceleration in that particular gear

w/3.73s yes you'd like to have the lower 1st gear ratio. It'll help you go farther before shifting into second. Only down side is when going WOT from a standstill. That is assuming you are able to get traction in the 0-20mph range.

so if i wen to the track would this improve 60ft times or make it worse??

depends... However I wouldnt go 2.95 with 3.73's. If I step up to 4.30's, I might consider it!
