just wondering why you want to stay with the 3.08 gears...

if you say gas mileage i will come through the computer and b*tch slap the hell out of you...

and anyways, we need more info on your ride, heads, compression, auto/stick etc...

Dosent matter 4.10 wins right? no need for any info with that kinda mind set! oops!

OP you might wanna consider what you are wanting as in all around performance setup, a camshaft does not give a **** what gear you have!!!!!!!!!!! but the all around engine combonation does think thru the smoke and mirrors!

You have to look at many variables! First a hp level as a goal, what you will use the car for the most, think of the cu in you are using, you dont need as big or wild of a cam to fill 302 cuin as you will a 331 or 347 cuin engine, same with heads and intake, then your exaust!

So your original question is vague! and not really a legit question!

You are asking what cam for a certain set of springs thats kinda *** backwards to start with!

Which springs do you have? If you have the TFS springs why not a TFS cam? Thats simple!

Car weight and other variables like C/R etc etc will be factored in also! OR OR OR you can have a very cool sounding car that runs like ****!

haha no i dont care about gas mileage i just dont wanna spend the extra time and money on new gears n stuff the engine is out of a 93gt going into a 95 both r manuals i picked up a set of gt40p heads so compression should be around 10:1 maybe? im also sending the short block assembly to be built at a local machine shop so it should get oversized piston and bearings and stuff like that cu in are staying around the same.

well its pretty much going to be a daily driver, its going to be fuel injected i have a gt40 upper and lower including the heads, exhaust is going to be very free flowing with headers, hpipe, and flowmasters and i didnt really like the power range of the tfs 1 cam the xe270hr caught my eye cuz it has a power range of 1800-5800 which is a low enough to cruise comfortably at 60? i really have no experience of performance camshafts and i know camshaft choice is a very important key to how an engine really performs.
