where am i at now?
alright im curious now where im at in power?. over the years im slowly getting parts ( and getting a little quicker ) put on my 90 AOD hatchback. shorty headers,highflow hpipe,american thunders, cold air, mass airflow, 65 mm Tb, smog pump bypass, and 13 timing and factory 3.27's. i know its not alot of gain. whats next? 3.73's ?

might dyno around 200whp. my '95 made 188 or something like that with shorties, midpipe, flowmasters, cai, and 14 degrees thru the aode.
i'd jump to 4.10's, then either throw some nitrous on it or save for a vortech kit.

your HP is irrelevant cuz u have an AOD car. unless your interest is posting dyno sheets and NOT drag racing, your about 50 hp slower than a bone stock 5-speed, or in the 14.40 ET bracket
as a former 2 time AOD owner even after i swore against another.....and taking into consideration i will use 4.10 and no less on a my 5-speed cars...the i say no. 3.73's suck and you will not even notice a diff from your 3.27's
yes ive been there...2nd stang, 1st 5.0 was a '90gt with 3.27
gues what i did the 3.73 swap cuz peeps scared me.... i was thoroughly dissapointed to say the least. it will still bog if you hook.
4.10's and a 100 shot...you'll never look back
that or a 5-speed swap, you'll think you gained a 100 hp
my slowest 5-speed was faster than my fastest aod with mods. except for my '90 vert spraying a 100 shot with 3.73's, my slowest 5 speed ran the same ET 100% bone stock and 2.73's as that car...which was 13.60's
