Some TKO 500 questions
#11
Gettin it with a bellhousing for under $1000 so I'm gonna grab it. I thought I read I'd need a shorter driveshaft ? Yet I had also read of people needing a spacer ? He has an aluminum one. Wondering if I should try and grab that too. It's a 10 spline input shaft on the trans as well.

Man are you sure it's a tko?
Seriously I thought the 3550 was the 10 spline and the 500/600 were 26 spline which is better by the way
10 spline should use your current yoke spline on mine I just used a c6 yoke for my 500's
I am just thinking outloud but seriously I wouldn't drop any cash till you can confirm it

Your fox will not need a shortened driveshaft, that's the T56 swap. You also wont need a spacer... that's for the SN-95 installs. You will probably need a new driveshaft yoke though. Check before you buy one!

Adder you know I cant read
And if you ever read you would notice I was thinking out loud besides my tko was built back in 2000 were the same options available then as to now?
Regardless the deal seems shady and that's the moral of the story
