Get a cam from Ed Curtis at FTI and have him set you up with a head package. A set of the new AFR 185 Competitions with a valvespring setup from Ed and a custom cam for nitrous and you'll have that 302 into the 10's easy. Assuming everything else is good to go.

i will have a strange spool and moser 31s up for sale in about 2 months once i pull them out they are for an 8.8 with 9" ends though not sure if youd want to convert? im going to 40 spline mark williams star cut axles.
