Default Upper and Lower intake

I have a 5.0 GT stock.. I am thinking of adding a GT40 upper and lower intake and heads.. Would this be a a direct bolt up with no mods required? And if there are mods what would they be.. Also what kind of power gain can i expect.? Thanks for your help..

They are all the same but it kinda depends on which GT40 intake you are going to use....There is the cobra, explorer, and tubular GT40.... They are direct "bolt on" but depending on which you use the vacuum lines will need some slight rerouting. Nothing major....

If you are just doing the intake the power gain will be little but slightly noticable. You will notice more once you swap out the heads too...

thats a super broad question, but you can gain up to 75-ish

thats with a tubular, and good aluminum heads. as a second choice, iron gt40's, the real ones. 3 hash marks, that come off cobra's, or lightnings

think about port matching the heads to the intake, and the lower to a 1252??? i think 1252 is the one.

also check the gt40 lower, they are VERY different

you want the part number to end in "AA" NOT "BA" near the dizzy cutout

The BA is only .96" x 1.65" and the AA is 1.00" x 1.80" , no sense porting what you dont need to.
