IAC question
I replaced my IAC this weekend and now my car idles a little high, around 1000 rpms whereas before it was a nice 600-800 rpms. The reason I replaced it is because it would hunt around and has a hard time in the morning running cold so I thought I'd give that a try. The hunting part is gone but not idles high. Any ideas?

I just read that after reseting the computer the high will run that way for a few days to relearn the idle. I pulled codes using a scanner to double check a few things.....would that reset the computer? Could this be the reason for my high idle all of the sudden?

Any help?
All I did was replace the IAC and scan the codes.....it idled great before, I just wanted to replace the IAC because the car has 128k miles on it and figured why not. Could it be the new IAC?

Just to update. I cleaned the TB and did the computer reset just to be safe. I also sprayed carb cleaner in the area to see if I had any leaks. Everything checked out and it looks like it is running good now.
