Default Fuel Pressure question...

I know not everyone reads my build thread anymore so I will ask this on a fresh thread....

I install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator yesterday and it seemed to smooth out the car and it now picks up a little more above 5k... I set the pressure with the vac line off at 43psi....so its somewhere between 35-38psi with the line on..I don't remember what exactly..

Anyway, how much of a psi drop do you normally see from vac line on to vac line off????

Seems about normal....but we normally see a little more difference then that (for example: if we set it at 45 static and then hook up the Vac line, it drops down to about 32 ish range....make sure your FPR vac line is a dedicated line and source, and there is no leaks in the source, manifold and FPR too....

pressure should be set to 39.15 PSI with zero vac reference. The exact PSI drop is directly correlated to the amount of vac the engine pulls.
