Had a c4... Sold it.. Wanted a 400 but got a good deal on a glide.

I imagine it will be quicker than that. Maybe not the first week out but, after some tweaking it should be 9's easy.

I don't see why 1/4 mile racing is so popular if everyone has to have a cage to go fast.

Here is a friend of mine's 240. The only reason he put a cage in the car is so he could run the 1/4 at Montgomery to race other imports. This is after the cage but, he was in the 6s running the 1/8th without a cage a year or two before this video.

I know NHRA has an 1/8 cut off too, you can only go so fast.

If he was racing, yeah he would have been in trouble.

But test and tune, I could carry you to a different track on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and nothing would be said.

For some people who don't always go to a track a cage is installed just for peace of mind....just in case some idiot cause an accident its always nice to be extra safe just in case you end up on your lid....
