right now i have a 94 gt with a 302 with crane 2030 cam gt40p heads factory cobra intake 3.73 gears 5speed the bottom has stock pistons but it was rebuilt 10000 miles ago. What would be a good head and cam upgrade to do

the trickflow cams are really nice, split duration

almost any aluminum head is way better than your p heads..... if smog is an issue, stay with 1.9/1.6 heads like eddy performer 5.0's

combine those with a 1.7 rocker and even the stock cam is pretty good

fyi, as long as your trans is newer than 1984 it's a world class. so you dont have anything special with your stock tranny. but its a very common misconception in the 5.0 world

and yes....long term goal is something to think about now

the package needs to work together or you'll waste money later on. and also dont forget to support the mods. fuel and air

a 190 pump is plenty to support 400hp, as well as 24 lb inj, and 65 tb, and 73 meter

a lot of people will tell you , you need way bigger but you dont

 

i want a street strip car the car already has a 255lph pump in it cause it had a supercharged motor in it before i bought it it has a 80mm mass air 70mm tb and i do have a edelbrock performer rpm efi intake for the car and the trans is rebuilt with aftermarket gears so i dont think trans or fuel should be a problem the car has 24lb injectors on the car already and i dont care about smog so what would be a good head to run budget i would like to stay around 1200 to 1300 on heads
