it doesnt make a difference if you have 200 or 500 horsepower
your MPG will range from about 3-5 at the dragstrip to 21-23 on the freeway if your doing 65-70
if you race from light to light....MPG will suck, and will suck in any car...even a 4-banger

true true. im gunna put a low gear ratio in the rear to so i can highway cruise at like 85 cuz the torque will be enough for a nice agressive pick up and give me decent gas mileage. if i put 3.73s i think the motor will be working to much at high speeds.
