Default Hi Im new with a question

I joined the site to get some info no one else has been able to provide. I have a 1984-1/2 GT 350 with the 2.3 turbo 5spd hatchback. White with Red interior. No one can tell me a thing about it. I have had it for 12 years know the origional owner and dealer that sold it brand new but they even now have never seen one (all are newbies). No one knows how to service it, locate parts for it and better yet help me place a value on it.

I have talked to car people, appraisers, dealers, auto auction houses, and NO one has seen one and or can place a value on it? It has never seen a winter and always is in temp controlled storage. I have 51K on it now and am thinking about selling it BUT I dont have a clue as to what it is worth?

Can anyone help me out and or tell me where to find an appraiser who will know something about this car?

I appreciate all the help anyone can get me.

Thanks

CB 993

Welcome to the forum. Check out the tech section, you should be able to get some help there. Pics would help as well.

Not quite in the right section, but they should compare to the mustang svo except I would assume a bit more rare. Excellent shape svo's go for 8g+, 6g in decent shape, some times lower if they need a little work. They also used the 2.3t's in thunderbird turbo coupes and merkur xr4ti's. I would say your car, if its in excellent shape, is easily worth 10k+. I must say, I'm a little jealous.

post some pics, and I'd say 10-12k max, even though the gt 350's anniversary editions are getting fewer by the number, they are not heavily sought after as all they really offered was a sticker package, I know they had a few more options than that but you get the point, and a turbo one would be more rare as you have but they still are not highly valued cars.
