Default Would You....

Trade this 95 custom GT for this 97 GT? Even trade, no cash.

Just wanna get some outside opinions on this. I've been trying to sell my 95 now for quite some time and I've yet to get a serious buyer, problem is it's too modded I guess (hold the laughs, I know it's not an all out drag car). I can, however as odd as it sounds, sell that 97 for a decent amount and quickly.

Thoughts.....

Neither car is in perfect condition, however the 97 is nearly all stock and does work pretty well, however, IMO, is FUGLY. The trader will not get the 95 as you see it there. It will be stripped of its stereo, wheels, and basic dress ups. He will be basically getting the basic car.

My 95 is modestly well moded and is just a pain to sell as a result. People want me to give it to them. I've litterally decided to take as low as $5,000 for the car and still no serious buyers. Just tire kickers and lots of excuses.

Why do you want the 97? I'd say no. That's an early 4.6 sohc engine. Strip the 95 of parts and sell them off if you want cash. If you want a mustang to drive instead of that 08 daily. Keep the 95.

Ok so your saying you found a sucker to buy an ugly 97 from you but not the 95. If this is the case what have you got to lose if your just looking to get some cash???

People want me to basically give them the 95, but the 97, oddly enough I have a few potential buyers for.

As for me the 08 is the daily driver, I use the 95 once in a blue moon to get too and from work just to keep it fresh, but it's by no means a daily driver. The 97 will be the same way. Yes I know all about the NPI 4.6L but it's not for me, just easier to sell and I'll get about the same amount for it. I'm also going to get a free 4.6L block that if I chose I could build up and sell, or sell it off as is and maybe come out a little ahead.

The 95 I can't part out as I have no stock GT parts remaining, it's already been parted out by selling off the S/C and fuel assembly to power it.

That 97 is fugly. I like how they took off the GT 4.6L emblem and put a 94-95 GT emblem on....NOT.

Yes, you're right Mike, after looking at it again it is definitely a new-edge GT emblem. But still...

I had a 95 same color and interior looks near same. Now I have a laser red. Wish I had the money for the 95 you got. Love the color. Hated it when it came new to dealer. I grew and accepted it. Keep the 95.
