air vent issues

I replaced the water pump in my 94 gt cause the seal blew out and now the air only blows out from the defrost vents. Any thoughts

Vacuum operated vent doors are set to default to defrost if they are inoperative, so you have the option during the rain. Most likely cause is the vacuum line to the actuator has come undone.
