Take a look at that and tell me if u think your budget is oing to conpete with that, i hate to give u a reality check but these cars all hae upwards of 700hp and chadis, suspensions, trans, tires built to the hilt. You cant even
Build a barebones 400hp build on your budget which wouldnt even compete anyway..... I understand your 17, but if u think r going to make moey buy street racing a car with a 1-2k budget motor
Build you are living in a fantasy world.

You need , conplete turn key motor, gauges, transmission, k member, fuel system for carb, driveshaft, possibly a radiator, a 8.8 rear or better as the v6 7.5 is far from ideal. It will infact cheaper to sell your car and buy one that came with a 302 and swap it to carb. Saying know obe knows how to drop a 302 or a windsor in a chasis that at one point came with one is kinda laughable, theres plenty of people in your area that have it , done it, and no how to so it, you just have to look outside the highschool parking lot ( no offense intended).

Once again clearly u dont understand how high power cars work, and theres no nice way to pt this but if u think with 1100 dollars your going to build a 400rwhp 302 your on crack. The heads and cam alone will cost more than that.

To make 400rwhp na with a 302 you have two routes, go with a 347 stroker with a decet cam and some headwork (this routw will cost more than 1100, u need a machine block, rotating assembly , cam, proper valvetrain componets etc etc. the other route keep the stock displacement of 302 would requre HIGH compression setup which means once again your diggin into the rotating assembly for high compression pistons, an this setup wpuld also need a significant cam and aftermarket heads. Sprry its just not happening on 1100$
