shock question

Default shock question

i just purchased some cheap shocks from advance auto parts to get me but until i can redo the whole suspension how bad of a job is it to swap the rear shocks?

not bad at all with an impact and some jack stands.

If you got monroe shocks from advanced/oreilys take them back. I put those on a couple months ago and they suk just as bad as everyone has mentioned on many forums. I can't wait to replace these soon with some tokicos.

A Mustang is a performance car, it needs a good quality sport shock to handle properly.
Installing cheap shocks will be a mistake.

If using an air or electric impact wrench, replacing rear shocks only takes maybe 10 minutes to install both sides.
