This is the transmission I was looking at; It says its going to need modified to fit the 94-95 cars. The input shaft is 26 spline, the output shaft is 31 spline. <-- Does this mean I'll need new axles to fit this??

no, you'll need a different clutch/disc and maybe yoke...I can't remember what stock spline is on tranny yoke..........and to run the tko on a sn-95, iirc you need to modify crossmember and or a driveshaft spacer, but don't quote me on all of that, research it a little

Yeah I knew about the cross member and lengthening the drive shaft. I've never done any drive line work. Does the output shaft of the trans need to match that of the axles? This is a subject I need to spend some time researching. I did find a RAM clutch to match the TKO

Good choice over rebuilding a T5, way better than a t5 as far as strength. No you won't need new axles.

No as in the output shaft spline doesn't need to match the axle splines?

The transmission output shaft connects to your driveshaft not to your axles.

Get some superior or moser axles whatever you prefer, and a carrier rebuild kit FMS-M-4700-C GRFRRFRFS is the best stack on the replacement kit.

That should hold what you have....

With the right stuff an 8.8 can be comparable to a 9in! without the weight..

I was thinking everything needed to be the same in terms of spline count
