Default exhaust header question

I have a set of headers that someone gave me, and looking at them i noticed that inside the flanges, the welds hang over a bit. Can those be ground down, and sanded some for a smoother transition in the pipe?

yes. just don't sand/grind to much... do enough to smooth it out but leave it at that...... That is common with lower end brand parts...... And parts that numerous units are made at once.... just a manufacturing flaw. thats all...
