Default street/strip car

Hello
I am looking to build a street/strip car but more street. I have a 347 block laying around and I think it will make some good hp. I have a chance to buy a 4cyl mustang. Is it hard to convert to a v8?
Thanks

If you have average mechanical abilities it is very hard.

Yes, it's going to get very expensive.

I converted mine some years ago from 4 cylinder to a V8 car, and would not repeat the experience. It is a lot of work to do right, changing out suspension, brakes, rear axle, transmission, fuel lines, brake lines, electronics, etc., and it is simpler to find a good V8 roller instead.

Make sure it has a good suspension setup if you're going to be running a 347.
