Default Finally got the 89 vert tuned

Well after a year and a half, I finally took the 89 vert to the tuner to get it tuned for max power. I didn't actually take it, I had a good friend drive it up to DGR performance in PA to do as I never have time due to my job. Anyway, it laid down way more than I had anticipated, I was hoping for a mere 425-450 rwhp......however, it put down to my suprise 556 rwhp and 511 rwtq at 5800 which is where my tuner had to shut it down as the 42 lb inj's hit max duty cycle, it was still climbing in power when shut down.....my tuner said with the right fuel system, it'd of easily put down 575+ if he could of spun it harder. Another limiting factor was my stock block.....so needless to say, I'm gonna pulley it back one step from 13-14 psi to 10 psi so the inj's have some wiggle room as I don't really want to dump a bunch more in a fuel system and aftermarket block right now. SET up is a 306 with probe pistons, skat rods and a FTI custom cam for s/c and edelbrock rpm heads and rpm 2 intake and a t-trim with an anderson motorsports meth kit....it's non intercooled.

I wonder what power levels you were at without the tune

not very high...around 400 I bet, I had a boost retard in it and no timing and no meth kit hooked up, and it felt like a turd when you tried to run it up, at least to me it did
