I drove the car home and the car now sounds like it should have from the factory. I was surprised at how well the stock mufflers sound without the resonator and neck downs. I'm sure others will agree.

Thanks! - Jared

Here is it, in case you missed it!

Take a listen to Lethal Performance's 2015 Mustang GT 2.5" Stainless Resonator Delete Kit!
Although we love the new '15 GT and pretty much everything about it, in our opinion the tone of the stock exhaust is lacking badassery.. So just as we've done in the past with the older model mustangs, we got right to it and developed an exhaust upgrade kit that makes this new S550 sound like it should! ‪#‎badassitude‬

Update-
Pricing has been set at $299.99 shipped to the lower 48. Both the X and H setups have been added to the site but won't be active to the end user until tomorrow morning.

The material we'll be using is T409 stainless steel which is the same stainless that's used on the factory exhaust to begin with. The pipe will come with the 4 OEM style stainless steel clamps needed for the install and instructions.

I'll have pipes available to start shipping next week.

Regarding the H pipe video as well as a back to back Dyno comparison I expect to have that done either late this week or early next week.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

Thanks,
Jared

How heavy is the stock S550 resonator box?

I assume that by deleting that resonator box and putting in this H or X mid-pipe would save a decent amount of weight.

I should have weight comparisons done on Friday. As soon as I have that info I'll post it up.

Thanks, Jared

I've heard the resonator is 35 lbs.

This seems like a very sensible way to increase HP & Probably get you a bit more MPG as well and the search for a decent exhaust sound lies dormant until the resonator is deleted. I was thinking of a Borla exhaust but this would save me a lot of $$ & it sounds like it takes the shackles off the stock Ford exhaust. The sound in the video after the resonator delete is just as good, if not better then the Borla Touring catback.
Thanks for sharing. Dennis
