Default Why Lug nut sizes different front and rear?

I have the performance pack wheels and the factory lug nuts in the front are slightly smaller than the rear. Anyone know why? I use the 21mm socket which fits perfectly on the fronts without any issues, but the rears are much tighter with the rears! I am able to force the socket on most of them. DO they make a 21.5 mm size? Does anyone else have the same issue? Sounds strange to me. Thanks.

While 21mm and 13/16 are similar, you will find 13/16 fits perfectly.

Thank you. I will pickup a 13/16 socket and give it a try.

I don't think they are different tho. It's possible your front ones are "stripped" a bit due to possibility of actually using a wrong size socket to take off/put on the lug nuts from the previous work? I have a PP and my lugs are the same size front (255) and back (275). One of them was stripped at the shop because the guy started off with a wrong socket so one of my lugs I had to hammer/wiggle on the wrench then I used a dremel to take the excess metal off the edges to make it fit nicely again.

I mean the back ones are stripped.

They might have 'swelled' if they are the type with a casing around it...
