Supercharger

The warranty, Roush or Whipple, is an extra cost option. It's equivalent to an extended warranty. You pay your money and you get the coverage so either one should be ok from that point of view. In what admittedly limited reading on the subject I've done, both Roush and Whipple are good systems. Both have their loyal followers who have their reasons for choosing one over the other. So do your research and make your decision, but be sure you purchase that coverage after the fact. Good luck!

A procharger is an interesting choice for forced induction. I've seen a couple videos and they perform pretty good. Looks easier to install and cheaper than a traditional supercharger, but for me a traditional supercharger looks better than a procharger. If a procharger came up for the right price, I might be interested in getting one but in the meantime I still want to get a more traditional supercharger set up.

back to your question : bang for buck is a loaded question. Depends: who installs? Centrifugal or roots/screw type? If you will on,y putter on the streets go roots/ screw. Low rpm grunt and fun.

Im really interested in this as well, I wonder how the Whipples and Roush compare to the paxtons/prochargers/vortechs in terms of cooling? I kind of think the centri's may be better because they arent actually attached ontop of the cylinder heads, but Its hard to find intake air temperature 2 information on 2018 supercharged mustangs. The whipple design for 2018's is interesting, its apparently upside down, may be similar to the newer z06 and zl1 in some ways. I wonder if that helps or hurts its overall IAT2's though.
Im not sure what would be best for longevity, I do think the centrifugal usually have a higher horsepower potential if you get a strong head unit most can pump out 1000 rwhp with proper fueling. I think I like the sound of roush and whipple more though... very hard decision.

Best bang for the buck is a Paxton or vortech 900HP kit from beefcake racing. $5900 for a full kit with 1050 injectors. 58MM blow off valve and a 3.6 pulley. I got this kit on my 15 GT. I'm expecting low 10s @ 136-138.
