think about it 1:1 5th gear equal 4th gear 1:1 in old mustang
so in 4th gear in your 2007 mustang will be 3.55
in the new 2011 mustang you will be in 4.68 in 4th gear ..
but if u take 3.31 u will be in 4.369 .. which is also not bad !! if u have to spin to 7000 rpm ..
you can drive 4.10 car with 4.6 engine and u will find it too much gearing for 300 hp
what about 100 more hp ..
just think of first and second gear with the new 6 speed .. im sure u tires will wear fast
and those who got 3.73 .. must run big tires

i dont doubt that this new BEAST did go 12.77 with 3.31 BUUUUUTTTT, i would like some proof. i would also like my questioning of this performance to be shot down, so please shoot it down. shoot it down HARD!! lol

If you can do 10s with a little juice (not even tuned) and slicks, im sure you could pull off high 12s with the 3.31 gears

i think they switched out the gears. im pretty sure thats what their post said anyways

Was the ATCO track mod applied?
12.77 is impressive for sure, but also pretty sure stock 11 GT with 3.55's could run 12.70 and with 3.73's could do 12.6's at ATCO too.
Probably on average one of the, if not the, fastest track in the country.
